It’s time to plan your Guatape boat party. No trip to Medellin is complete without passing through the town of Guatape, this is the most colorful city in Colombia and the most beautiful in Antioquia.
A boat party in Guatape is a multi-day excursion where we put together an epic package in its artificial reservoir. Transport, beer, snacks on board a wakeboard boat are the toys you need and you just have to prepare with all your friends. For many of our clients, a great adventure.
How is the town
Guatapé is the most popular town in Colombia, it houses a huge artificial lake that was created in the 70’s to feed a hydroelectric dam. This lake gave life to an already amazing rock. On this rock (or monolith) more than 700 steps were built that allow visitors to walk up to the top. Once you reach the summit, there is a view that is worth your trip to Colombia. If you come to Guatapé, you must climb this stone, it is not negotiable.
Climbing the stone is mandatory
Once we have visited the rock and reached its top, we will be ready to start the day with a beer in hand and head to the docks.
